Your team in Argentina. Without opening a local entity.
Employer of Record. We hire, administer and meet Argentine labor obligations on your behalf. Your team, fully compliant, with no structure of your own.
We employ. You direct.
Employer of Record means that éxodo is the legal employer of your team in Argentina. We handle contracts, payroll, social security contributions, insurance and everything the law requires.
You focus on leading your team, setting the work and growing your business. No bureaucracy and no hidden costs: the employer role, the administration and the compliance are on us.
Clear from day one.
Legal hiring
Registration with the tax authority, an employment contract under the applicable collective agreement, union registration, workers' compensation and health coverage. All in order from day one.

You direct. We do the rest.
When éxodo is the legal employer of your team, everything that slows you down comes off your plate. This is not a promise: it is what the monthly fee covers.
No hiring
We sign the employment contract. Your team starts working under your direction from day one.

Why hire in Argentina
and not somewhere cheaper.
If the only variable were the rate, this would be an easy decision and it would not be Argentina. These are the other three.
They work when you work
Buenos Aires is UTC−3 all year and does not observe daylight saving, which puts it one to two hours ahead of New York. A 9-to-6 day here overlaps seven to eight hours with a US East Coast day: your people and ours are online together, every day.
First in the region
Argentina ranks first in Latin America and 26th worldwide for English proficiency, at 575 against a global average of 488. In accounting and finance the score is 569, and Buenos Aires is the highest-scoring city in the region.
A market that can absorb you
Free public universities feed a professional workforce well beyond what the country's size suggests. Knowledge services are Argentina's third-largest export sector: USD 10.1 billion a year, 285,000+ formal jobs. Hiring one person here does not exhaust the bench.
English proficiency: EF English Proficiency Index 2025. Knowledge-services exports and employment: Argencon, June 2026, covering April 2025 to March 2026.
What changed in 2026.
The labor reform wrote this model into the law. Here is what changes for you.
Law 27,802 on Labor Modernization (published 6 March 2026) amended 38 statutes. For this service, what matters is article 29 of the Labor Contract Law:
Workers shall be considered direct employees of whoever registers the employment relationship, notwithstanding that they were hired with a view to using their services or to providing them to third-party companies.Unofficial translation. The binding text is the Spanish original published in the Official Gazette.
Previously, the employer was whoever used the services. Now it is whoever registers them. This is the first time Argentine law expressly contemplates hiring someone in order to provide them to a third party, and the previous wording branding the arrangement as fraud was removed.
Also: a narrower severance base, repeal of the penalties under laws 24,013, 25,323 and 25,345, court interest capped at inflation plus 3%, legal fees capped at 25% of the judgment, and a probation period of 6 to 12 months depending on company size.
The reform was suspended by an injunction between 30 March and 23 April 2026. The Court of Appeals overturned it, the Supreme Court rejected the direct appeal, and on 8 July 2026 the dismissal became final. It is now fully in force.
Neither of us bets on the exchange rate for the other.
How we invoice, in which currency, and why we do it this way.
The labor cost is invoiced in pesos, converted at the wholesale rate on the day of payment. The management fee is in dollars, fixed. The conversion is disclosed: 1.5% over the wholesale rate, itemized on every invoice.
We do it this way because between January and July 2026 the Argentine labor cost measured in dollars rose 16.8% — inflation accumulated 19.3% against a 2.2% devaluation. A contract priced fixed in dollars passes that mismatch to someone: either the provider absorbs it and ends up cutting the service, or it resurfaces in a renegotiation six months later.
What does a team in Argentina cost?
Here is an approximate calculation, with nothing dressed up. With or without éxodo, the labor cost in Argentina is much the same. What changes is who administers it and who takes on the employer role.
Why we show two numbers. Global providers publish an employer burden for Argentina of around 28% — which is contributions plus workers' compensation, and nothing else. The 13th salary, the vacation premium and severance show up later, when they fall due. We show both figures from the start: what leaves your account every month, and what is accruing even though it has not been paid. It is the only way to compare proposals without surprises in June and December.
This is the approximate cost of your team in Argentina, whether you administer it or we do. The salary is only part of it.
Assumptions: a services employer below the medium-company threshold (18% contributions under Decree 814/01; above it, 20.40%), office work, staff outside collective agreements and 15% annual involuntary turnover. The actual figure depends on classification, province and the applicable collective agreement, and is quoted per role.
The fee covers full administration of the employment relationship and the backing of the employer role. It is approximate and open to discussion based on volume, profile and duration.
All included in the monthly fee. The price is discussed according to your team profile and volume.
Approximate values in USD based on contributions and provisions currently in force in Argentina. Actual workers' compensation rates depend on the declared activity and claims history. The fee and terms adjust to the team's profile, volume and duration. For an exact quote, let's set up a call.
The fee, with no fine print.
We charge either the floor or the percentage of total labor cost, whichever is higher. The percentage applies to the labor cost —not to the gross salary— because that is where the real risk of the service sits.
Written quote within 48 hours. Tell us the role and the gross salary and we will send you one page with that position's fully loaded labor cost, the collective agreement we would apply and why, the workers' compensation rate, the fee and the exchange rate. No meeting required first. Cancellation with 60 days' notice.
From signature to the first day of work.
Your team works for you. The risk and the bureaucracy are on us.
